Iconic Buildings
Iconic Buildings
Duration: 1hr 25mins
This workshop focuses on the beauty of Iconic buildings old and new. The first exercise portrays the ‘Shard’ building in London through strong sunlight and shadows. The final project looks at the beautiful 'Radcliffe Camera' building in Oxford.
Through a painterly approach, you will get into the mindset of breaking down the forms of a building into simple shapes. You will also learn that suggested marks are all you need to depict your subject without fussing over details or worrying about perspective or straight lines.
I also use a limited palette for both projects, but with a generous and bold use of colour you can not only depict a likeness but produce a painting that is full of atmosphere.
A material list is included and photo’s are provided when you purchase this workshop.
